Celebrating Collaboration and Progress at DiCiM’s 4th General Assembly
Our exceptional team gathered in the picturesque city of Budapest, Hungary, for the 4th DiCiM Project General Assembly. This meeting brought together partners from across Europe to reflect on our progress and chart the next steps toward achieving our ambitious goals.
Graciously hosted by our project partner Lexmark, the assembly spanned two intensive days filled with insightful presentations by work package leaders, updates on developments across our four project use cases, and strategic discussions on disseminating and exploiting project results.
The assembly opened with a comprehensive status report from Alena Klapalová, the DiCiM Project Coordinator, who outlined submitted and upcoming deliverables, key milestones, and an overall assessment of the project’s trajectory. This was followed by a dynamic discussion about the project’s use cases, ensuring alignment among partners and assembling the necessary technological resources to bring them to fruition.
Spotlight on Collaboration
We were also honored to welcome Levente Benei from the esteemed CE-RISE Project, who delivered an engaging presentation. CE-RISE, an EU-funded initiative, focuses on optimising the reuse, remanufacturing, and repair of electronic products while promoting the recovery of raw materials. This collaboration provided an excellent opportunity to explore synergies and potential future partnerships between projects.
A Grateful Thank You
The DiCiM team extends heartfelt thanks to the incredible Lexmark team—Maxime Furkel, Gyorgy Szemeredi, Janos Batyai, and Karin Feger-Gräßler—for being outstanding hosts and organising a seamless and productive General Assembly.
We also want to thank all DiCiM members for their dedication and contributions, especially Alena Klapalová of Masaryk University and Farazee Asif from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, for their exceptional leadership and guidance in driving the project forward.
