DiCiM Drives European Standardization in Digital Product Passports and Circular Economy

DiCiM is directly contributing to standardization work through involvement in two highly relevant European standardization Committees.  KTH Royal Institute of Technology is involved in the Digital Product Passport initiative including CEN/CLC/JTC 24, Digital Product Passport – Framework and System, and CEN/CLC/JTC 24/WG 2, Unique identifiers and data carriers.

DiCiM partner KTH Royal Institute of technology is also involved in CEN TC 473 Circular Economy. CEN/TC 473 ‘Circular Economy’ was established in 2023 by CEN, the organisation that develops and publishes standards at a European level. The committee's goal is to strengthen the European voice within global standardization activities around circular economy set up. It will focus on developing horizontal standards related to European specific prerequisites, legislation, and policy.
