Fraunhofer IWU Open House Energy Days Event

On June 13th-15th, Dr Mario Lorenz from the University of Chemnitz participated in the Fraunhofer IWU Open House Energy Days Event held in Chemnitz, Germany.

The event aimed to address some of the pressing challenges of the future, some of these included reducing the reliance that EU countries have on imports, discovering sustainable substitutes for fossil fuels, and developing new key competencies at the European level.

Additional topics included sustainable product creation from climate-neutral factories, promoting sustainable production and energy, implementing energy and resource-efficient processes, and exploring the use of hydrogen in production processes and use cases.

This was a great meeting with different professionals in the fields of sustainability, energy, manufacturing, the European Union and more. It was also a fantastic opportunity to showcase the DiCiM Project and its relevant objectives.
